The total voters turnout is looking at a healthy number of a 49557 or 75.87 % voters out of 64500 registered voters.
It is a healthy number at 75.87% as it will be more worrying if the turnout is any higher as a comparison on the previous two by-elections where numbers of voters turnout reported was at more than 80 % and the first one Pakatan at Manek Urai almost lost winning by a slim majority of about 60 votes and the Bagan Pinang Pakatan lost with an unexpected increased majority.
The estimate of voter turnout should be not more than 75 % (max) preferably at 70%, which will reflect the total average voting turnout trend. Every percentage change amounts to 645 voters and five percent equals to 3225 voters.
Will update later. having problem trying to load chart.
Update:
Ok got the chart up and got to run off.
The chart to look at is the voting time chart and it should be a smooth gradual flow without any spike and you will notice that there is one spike at the 4pm chart which almost double the numbers of the 3pm chart.
This spike has brought an additional of about 2500 votes or more.

Najib - Confident or Dumb?
This Hulu Selangor parliamentary by-election is now a national referendum on the Prime Minister Najib Razak. Najib has himself declared the by-election a referendum; the Prime Minister has given this election distinct prominence by his declaration and his active involvement in the election campaign.
It has been customary that in any by-elections, the deputy prime minister leads the Barisan National alliance and by design act as a defence mechanism to the reputation and criticism of the party alienating the no.1 from any adverse negative repercussion.
It has been a surprise and shock to many when Najib made the pronouncement and took over the leadership of the campaign machinery. Even had his “boss” campaigning in the constituency and this could be a first for the Malaysian election history where the so called first lady took an active role running the ground campaign.
Either Najib is so sure of winning or he is really that dumb.
Najib has stolen the limelight in this by-election and it is now all about him and maybe his “boss” being included and this is exactly why the no.1 is traditionally not directly involved in any by-elections.
Many were shock at his announcement and some became highly suspicious on his show of confidence and questions begin to arise resulting in the opposing team having to review the strategic battle plan. But then on further contemplation it could just be out of a plain overdose of exuberance especially after meeting world famous leaders and being elevated.
There is now not much option open to Najib as if he loses this election, the pressure both outside and from inside of umno will mount on him. According to an old chinese proverb, "He has now been placed on the altar".
Tonight is the night! Tonight we will know whether Najib is Confident or He is just plain Dumb.
And if he is so confident than we will want to know why he is so confident or what has given him that confidence.
Keep your eye wide open to this Hulu Selangor polling day today, for Najib has led himself to a corner and things could get desperate.
The votes could just be overwhelming.
Thuggery in Hulu Selangor
Magick River
We were at Pakatan Rakyat's closing ceramah at the KKB mini-stadium where more than 50,000 were gathered to mark the end of the intense campaign for the Ulu Selangor parliamentary seat. It was a heady, jubilant atmosphere charged with positive feelings about the outcome of this massively significant "referendum" on the nation's political future.
Because of the immense crowd, me and my friends opted to leave the stadium before Anwar had finished his fiery speech. When we got back to Kg Pertak, we were shocked to find the entrance blocked by a group of men who had parked a couple of motorbikes across the road.
A couple of Temuan youth had been assigned RELA T-shirts and flashlights and instructed to stop people from entering the village. A group of imported Umno heavies (some from Pekida it appears) stood around to provide additional muscle power.
What's utterly sickening is the vicious and violent energy Najib's goons have brought to Malaysian politics. Never have I witnessed such despicable strategies, born of abject fear of losing power.

Electoral Fraud
If we are on a level playing field than there will be no reservation as to who will win but we are not on a level playing field. In this field even the Referee is playing against you.
For a free and fair election much is dependent on the independence of the Election Commission which is entrusted with the sacred duty to safeguard the rights of voters. In Malaysia the members of the commission are all appointees of umno and act to the wishes of their political masters.
It was reported that some 14,000 voters in Hulu Selangor have had their polling stations changed and moved to new polling stations without the voter’s knowledge and this can be construed as Electoral Fraud which includes transferring 228 voters out to a different constituency.
The Election Commission has up till today not provided an acceptable explanation. This is a blatant act by the election commission.
The EC had earlier announced the withdrawal of the accreditation of “MAFREL” the independent election watchdog and said that they will not be appointed for the Hulu Selangor by-election.
You can’t help but to relate the incidence of the dislodge voters and the “dismissal” of the election watchdog.
Polling day is on Sunday and what can be done to ensure that the voters get to exercise their constitutional rights to a fair vote.
There is much amiss with the Malaysian electoral system, for any electoral democracy to work the underlining requirement for a free press must be present whereas today all major TV and Radio stations, newspapers and most print media are in the control of the ruling parties and their cronies.
If Pakatan wants to win than it must seek to resolve the issue of the 14,000 voters.

Three Speeches of Battle..
"Before the General leads his army to battle
he must first prepare his
Victory Speech
and after that he has to write his
Speech of Defeat
and finally prepare and give his
Initiation Speech
than leads out his army into battle."
-The unknown strategist-
Some food for thought and maybe we could come back later to expound and expand on this strategic proverbial expression. Sigh...
"Serve from the Heart,Win through the Head."
Command Centre of Barisan National
Our return trip back to Kuala Kubu Bahru today and as we pass through the toll gate there was a Police check point. There are an increased in Police check points today all over the district of Hulu Selangor.
And as we approach the Barisan National Command Centre guess what we saw running past our car? Yup, another ambulance with flashing lights in a great hurry. In and arounfd the BN command centre you will see many ambulances running about.

Ambulance In An Election
One very common sight which you will see in the previous by-elections as well as this by-election in Hulu Selangor is the number of Ambulances on the road.
We suspect that these Ambulances are being used to ferry the umno people and when there is a traffic jam they will be blaring their sirens and cutting through traffic.

Poverty in Hulu Selangor
The many years of Barisan National rule over the nation has impoverished much of the populace and Hulu Selangor is one good example of the result of the umno led government.
If you were to travel out of the cities and to the rural districts like Hulu Selangor you will find much poverty like that of T.Devi, 38, who works in a palm oil estate and earns a combined incomed of a meagre 600 ringgit a month.

UMNO's Dirty Campaign - Zaid Ibrahim
I was never wealthy, unlike other UMNO Ministers. I was a Minister for only 6 months. And before that I was never a crony of any one, nor obtained any concessions or APs or even blocks of shares. In the interest of transparency, I would be prepared to disclose to the public my possessions and my so called ‘wealth’; and that of my family and my children as well, on the condition that the DPM and his colleagues in Cabinet are willing to do the same of their own possessions, of their families, of their children, and their nominees.
During my brief tenure as Minister, (Tun) Pak Lah and I suggested that Cabinet Ministers should declare their assets. To show that BN Ministers are clean and not afraid of full accountability and transparency in their dealings . Many senior ministers opposed this idea. They opposed everything good that Pak Lah wanted to do. I wonder what the DPM has to say about this now.
If he hasn’t got anything useful to add, I suggest to the DPM that we move on and address the issues I have raised for the people in Hulu Selangor. And the issues facing the country. Lets have a fair fight and see who has the support of the people!

Shoot To Kill!
Over the years, Uthayakumar, who is also the force behind Hindraf, has accused the police of carrying out summary executions of suspected criminals, especially Indian Malaysians.
In the latest shootout which happened last Thursday, R Logeswaran, 38, and his younger brother Satchithananthan, 25, were blamed for a spate of armed robberies.
The funeral procession started from their house at around 2pm, where the hearses were led by a mall lorry fitted with a banner which read Police bunuh masyarakat India and We want royal commission into the shoot to kill policy. Watch...

Najib's First Year
Don't you ever get sick of the term "Malay" and "non-Malay" as a form of description on Malaysians and especially so coming from the Prime Minister himself and is this what the 1Malaysia crap is all about? Than you have Bumiputras, other Bumiputras and Non Bumiputras, The Indigenous and The Other Indigenous from Sabah and Sarawak, never have there ever been so many varied terms to describe the people of one nation and you would assume that 1Malaysia was about being one with the nation or in unity as one people and one national that is Malaysians.

Most Investors Simply Don't Believe Najib's New Economic Model
(Extract of a report from TheWall Street Journal)
As importantly, Mr. Najib mentioned education reform—an area in which pro-Malay admissions policies have made meritocracy a dirty word and denied opportunities to bright minority students, especially from the Chinese and Indian communities. Malaysian companies often complain about the lack of skilled labor, and the country's universities are a big part of the problem.
