Engine Trouble in Malaysia
2 Units of Stolen Jet Engines?? Stolen since May last year when Najib was Defence Minister. Cover Up?
More equipments could be missing? Doing an Audit now?
The stolen engine is the powerplant for one of the four F-5E Tiger II fighters and two RF-5E Tigereye reconnaissance jets still in active duty at the air force's 12th Squadron (Scorpion) at the Butterworth air base.
An "international company" based in Latin America bought the 50 million ringgit (USD 14 million) engine "because the price was cheap " Bernama quoted the defence minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as saying.
The engine, used for single-seat fighter and reconnaissance jets, is believed to have eventually ended up with a final purchaser in the Middle East.
More equipments could be missing? Doing an Audit now?
Armed forces chief Gen Tan Sri Azizan Ariffin said the stolen jet engine might just be the "tip of the iceberg", as initial investigations showed that other equipment might have gone missing from as far back as 2007.
Actually Mr General Sir, we Malaysians will not be surprised if more items are stolen or missing? While you are auditing can you also check the stocks of C4s?

This is the state of the nation today...You are not safe even at Home. Our country is in such tragic state that there is record breaking numbers dying unnecessarily and the government must take responsibility for their failure to provide basic security and safety for its people.
I am truly very ANGRY! There are so many victims of crime everyday and yet our government seems at a loss, they don't understand the scenario, they can't protect the people and they don't know what to do.Malaysians today live in FEAR for the safety of their family.

Another Horrible Death!
This is our country...
Tan Shu Fang, a bright 17 year old girl died a horrible death! She was the latest victim of the rampant crime in this country. She died a victim of Snatch Thief and how heartbreaking to read news such as this. Shu Fang is a straight As student of SMK Mutiara Rini 2 in Johor Bahru. Read Her Story HERE.
And now even snatch thief carries Gun! Read the Story HERE. And another death from crime HERE and these are only reported stories from the media and you can be very sure that there are many more such crime stories not reported.
The government must take responsibility for all the distressing deaths that is happening in this country of ours, we have record breaking deaths from traffic accidents, from diseases of H1N1, from crime and from deaths under detentions! And there is Teoh Beng Hock and Kugan and many many more! Fcuk!
These deaths from traffic accidents and crime and a big share of the deaths in custody are all related to the Police department that is the PDRM. The people have repeatedly called for a change in the leadership and management of the PDRM and as usual, our government don't give a damn about the grievances of the people and has continued further extension of the services of the same Chief of Police (IGP).
The present IGP has served for so many years and way past retirement age and yet his services are once again extended upon by the new Prime Minister. Despite the many accusations of impropriety and accusations in his conduct as the Chief of Police. What is their problem?? I really cannot comprehend!?
What is the problem with this UMNO led government? Or is this the behaviour of a disintegrating dynasty?

Humanitarian Crisis in Malaysia?
Malaysia in a Humanitarian Crisis?
Today six more migrants die in detention!
Malaysia will soon be famous for "Death" with the numbers of people dying in detention. The nation made world headlines with the death of Teoh Beng Hock and till todate there has been no outcome from police investigation although an inquiry is being held and is on going.
It looks like the authorities are at a loss at how to resolve all these problems which may now be in a crisis situation. The numerous and repeated complaints and reports made by international and local humanitarian institution had fallen on deaf ears and it seems the government is still in denial or either in defiance as no solutions or any attempt to correct this inhuman situation have been presented.

Crime and the City
(Photo from TV Smith) [Edit]Crime and the City
Liza was driving alone on a weekday afternoon last month, about 3.30pm under the scorching Malaysian sun, right in the middle of the city, and came to a stop at the traffic light junction of Jalan Tun Razak and Jalan Ampang, and on her left she could see the Ampang Police Station just next to City Square and Yow Chuan Plaza. She was her usual carefree and happy self listening to the radio while waiting for the lights to turn green and out of a sudden, she heard a loud crash as two men on a motor-cycle had pulled up along her vehicle, and smashed her car window, snatched her folder placed on the front passenger seat, which she had also put in her purse together with some documents. Liza was in total shock and frozen in her car, with debris of glass strewn all over her, and she had minor cuts in her hand and body from the flying glass.

Silence of the Lambs

The silence from MCA and Gerakan top leadership is deafening on the death of Teoh Beng Hock, or as someone said that they are too busy still trying to activate the money flow in the PKFZ. There are still good money to be made from this project as loan drawdown is still on schedule and billions have been allocated and are ready for drawdown, and some are very busy attending classes learning how to do the KPI, he added.
Not a pip from these top leaders on the death and gross injustice on Beng Hock has been heard, or did anyone heard or read any statement from them, maybe it was reported in the MIC newspaper. Yeah i know the small fries has finally made some small statements yesterday but the small fries can get quite quick approval to speak but must speak softly. (As reported in the star HERE).
Mr Insider told me that there is some kind of new BN agreement under the new PM and they "the leaders of MCA and Gerakan" need to seek permission before they can speak in public on major issues and they have just applied to make a public statement but as the master is quite busy and have not given them the approval yet and so we will have to wait before you can hear them squeak.
I could be wrong on this and if anyone have come across any statements made by especially the top leaders of MCA and Gerakan please let me know.

Sick and Tired of Crime in this Country!
(Pic from zorro)Zorro was a victim of an attempted snatch thief today.
Just a week ago Pat walk in to the wharf and complained that his wife’s handbag has been snatched in the crowded vicinity of old town PJ and the week before another friend’s old Aunty was a victim of another snatch thief and she was knocked unconscious while walking to work in the morning and had to be admitted to the hospital all bleeding on the head.
We all had friends and relatives who have been victims of crime and from the scary stories going around you can easily estimate that at least ½ of the population in the cities of Malaysia were at one time or the other been victims of crime. I myself had my apartment broken into and my project sites had countless incident of crime from snatch thieves, burglaries, break in, stolen site equipments, and one of my managers held at gun point, stole his Storm vehicle and emptied his pocket right down to murder during a robbery at one of the mini market in the township development where the proprietor of the mini mart was stab to death.
One of my business partner had his apartment completely cleaned out and another friend was victim in an upmarket condominium in Bukit Damansara right in her condo when two guys jump on her right at her doorstep and rob her apartment, she had develop such psychological fear that she now has moved to Singapore with her children but the husband had to stay as he work here in this city.
Crime is a reflection of bad governance where the government had failed to provide for the basic necessity of protection and security for its people. Our government and the police is either at a loss or not bothered to put a stop to this crime frenzy in this country. In countries of good governance you don’t hear much of snatch thieves and such incidents are very rare and I recalled a very rare incident of a snatch thief in the city of Singapore as reported in the local media and immediately the following day the thief was caught and the stolen items returned to the victim and this is the difference of a developed nation and a third world country.
The rise in crime is also an indication of a breakdown in the social structure and in line with the rise of poverty and economic hardship to the populace and a failure of the government’s focus on the overall economics to provide for basic necessities and at times especially in developing and third world countries where they overlook the contributions of the shadow economy (is also known as the underground economy and usually at a higher proportion in lesser countries) in providing stability to the social order when laws and governance are weak (usually encouraging corruption) and not with the times (outdated laws) and thus creating a psychological mentality of being deprived of the basic right for survival made worse by bad laws that oppresses the society at large.
It is funny that high crime rate are also associated with oppressive governments (oppressive governments are also associated with corruptions as an oppressive rule is devoid of love for its people) when you would expect that with harsh laws there will be lesser crimes but that is not the case every time. Which reminds me of the Confucius doctrine of ruling with virtue and not with force and that one must rule with love as a father loves his child.
“If people are inspired by a moral and virtuous government than people will want to be good because they have a sense of shame in doing wrong” ~ Confucius
