Gerakan To Pull Out!

Breaking News!

Gerakan will present an ultimatum to Barisan National that they will pull out of the coalition if Ahmad Ismail is not sanctioned immediately. In an emergency meeting of the Gerakan party it was unanimously agreed that this action will be taken within the next 24 hours if BN or umno takes no action against the defiant division leader.

Dr Koh had also earlier warned that Barisan may reach a “point of no return” if racist remarks and anti-social behaviour continued to tarnish its image, implicitly referring to Umno Bukit Bendera division chairman Datuk Ahmad Ismaill’s racist statements.

Looks like they won't need those 40-odd MP's partying in Taipeh's nightclubs and belly-dancing discos for this Govt to fall and it might happen b4 Sept 16.

Dare we hope?

What makes Gerakan think they are relevant? With only 2 MPs, their defection is insignificant. That's why Ahmad is so arrogant.

Now, watch the events unfold. Ahmad will be chastised by the PM and made to apologise or alternatively, being sanctioned. Gerakan will come out with a press statement praising the PM for being a good leader and all is well.

What a load of "Crap" (pardon my french). This is for the Rakyat's consumption and pure devious politics to control an out of control experss train. It has nothing to do with "Doing the right Thing"

IF pulling out ONLY from Penang BN... then, it's useless!!!!

Wrong, wrong. I say UMNO should be sacked from BN if they don't act against Ahmad Ismail. Why should Gerakan leave?

If Gerakan and Ah Khoon have enough self-respect, they whould pull out from BN, not because of this fellow Ahmad's derogatory and racist remarks, but due to 'no action' action, 'flip-flop' situational approach from our BN chief..... it could well be a blessing in disguise for Gerakan

The very notion of component parties wanting to pull out from BN should trigger Umno to think hard and fast what is happenging now in M'sia ...
