New 100 Storey Tallest Building in Malaysia!

Najib Tun Razak in his ongoing budget presentation of 2011 revealed a new multi billion 100 storey building to be the tallest in Malaysia and amongst the world's tallest buildings. This new development will be part of the redevelopment of the old Stadium Negara location known as the Warisan Medeka project to be completed by 2020.

Looks like Najib is set to out-do Mahathir interms of mega - projects with a host of multi billion mega projects being announced which include the development of the New Financial District of the old Sungei Besi airbase with a dedvelopment value at RM26 billion. *Correction this is not the Sungei Besi old airbase project but near Imbi road.

Construction of a Mass Rapid Transit of RM40 billion is to be initiated and many more.

Najib's 2011 1Malaysia Budget has received luke warm response with the Bursa stock market dropping by about 0.5 percent.

Even if they build a new skycraper, the Petronas Tower is still unique as a twin building.
